In the spirit of peace, the Western New England University community is invited to join together to celebrate the holidays with food, music, and a candlelight ceremony at the annual Festival of Lights Ceremony on Wednesday, December 4 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Rivers Memorial Hall.

It will be a time to gather as a community and reflect on the gifts that we all have been given as part of the Western New England University family and to reflect on how we hope for a safe and more peaceful 2020. University students, staff, and faculty are all welcome to participate. This event is free and open to the public.

Students attending the ceremony will represent many university groups including the International Student Club, Spiritual Life, Student Senate, Student-Athletes. The University Sax Quartet, Campus Chorus and The Bear Tones will all perform at the event. The Festival of Lights event is funded by the Student Senate and coordinated by the Office for Spiritual Life.
